MUSHROOM HARVESTING AND SALE INAUGURATION

Malabar Training College, Peravoor, inaugurated its Mushroom Harvest and Sale initiative on November 29, 2024, at the college auditorium. The program, titled “A Green Malabar Initiative,” aimed to promote sustainable agriculture and entrepreneurship among students. The inauguration ceremony began at 11 am, with a warm welcome by Sharfa Usman. Principal Indu K. Mathew delivered the presidential address, emphasizing the importance of sustainable agriculture and the role of educational institutions in promoting eco-friendly practices. Smt. Sandra M.M., Agriculture Officer at Peravoor Krishibhavan, inaugurated the Mushroom Harvest and Sale initiative. In her address, she highlighted the potential of mushroom cultivation as a viable entrepreneurial venture and commended the college for taking the initiative. WORLD AIDS DAY

                              AWARNESS PROGRAMME Malabar Training College, Peravoor, observed AIDS Day on November 29, 2024. The program, conducted by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Eco-Club, aimed to raise awareness about AIDS and promote education among students. The program began with a prayer by Sharfa Usman, followed by a welcome address by Akshaya Kavalan. Principal Indu K. Mathew delivered the presidential address, emphasizing the importance of AIDS awareness and education. NATIONAL CONSTITUTION DAY

 On November 26, 2024, the Social Science Department and IQAC organized an Constitution Day program in a modest format,  to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution. The event was conducted in a simple and meaningful format to foster awareness and understanding of the Indian Constitution among students. The event was conducted in the general hall starting at 2.30 pm.      The program commenced with a brief introduction by Jameelathil Misla.  The quiz was designed to test participants' knowledge of the Indian Constitution, its history, fundamental rights, directive principles, and other significant aspects. A total 5  teams, each comprising two members, participated in the competition, representing various departments of the college. The quiz was conducted in multiple rounds. CHILDRENS DAY CELEBRATION

ON November 20,2024, the social science club and lQAC organized an universal children's day program in a minimal format. We conducted in the program in Angavawadi ,Thettuvazhi.The event Started at 11 AM. The welcome speech was delivered by Smt vijisha PP  the formal program conducted with a vote of thanks by Anjima K M after the formal section. we conducted games, passing ball, balancing ball, identify the picture and culture program by children and distribution of coloring books, crayons, and also gave sweet the children's  The universal children's day celebration was a huge success, thanks to the effort of our team and our partners, we hope to continue the celebration in the future and make it even bigger and better  

CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION

NSS Unit 101, Malabar Training College, Peravoor, organized an Anganwadi visit to celebrate Children’s Day. The event aimed to promote community service and bring joy to the children. The program commenced at 11:00 am with a warm welcome speech by Anganwadi teacher, Luna. Preetha Kuriakose, NSS Program Officer, delivered an inspiring talk on the significance of Children’s Day. Reena Manoharan, Ward Member, emphasized the importance of nurturing young minds and promoting their overall well-being. NSS volunteers honored Luna teacher and Bindhu(Anganwadi Helper) 10 volunteers, Children and their parents and teachers actively participated in the event, ensuring its smooth execution.  

FLORAL ARRANGEMENT AT MPUP SCHOOL, PERAVOOR

  NSS Unit 101 of Malabar Training College, Peravoor, successfully conducted a floral arrangement program at M.P.U.P School, Peravoor. The event aimed to foster community service, teamwork, and environmental awareness among students. The program commenced with the inauguration by Srija, Principal, M.P.U.P School. NSS Program Officer Preetha Kuriakose and Student Coordinator Christy Shaju guided the volunteers throughout the event. Fifteen NSS volunteers and twenty students from the school participated enthusiastically, creating beautiful floral arrangements and decorating the school premises. The program concluded at 12:30 pm, leaving behind a visually appealing and refreshing environment. The event aimed to honor her immense contribution tomathematics and inspire students through her legacy.The highlight of the event was a QuizCompetition, held at 2:30 PM in the Seminar Hall.
