PONKATHIR KOYTHULSAVAM ( HARVEST FESTIVAL) AND GREEN CAMPUS DECLARATION



Event Overview:
The Ponkathir Koythulasavam, an annual harvest festival, was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Malabar Training College, Pervoor. The event not only marked the end of the harvest season but also served as a platform for cultural exchange and community engagement among students and local residents.

*Inauguration Ceremony:*
The inauguration of the festival was graced by Sri P. P. Venugopalan, the President of the Peravoor Grama Panchayat. The ceremony commenced with a traditional welcome, followed by a floral tribute to the deity, signifying prosperity and abundance. Sri Venugopalan delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of agriculture in sustaining community life and the need to preserve traditional practices.
