CARE AND CONNECT

 The "Care and Connect" program was held on January 24, 2025, at 9:30 am in the Seminar Hall. The session featured Father Preyesh Kalarimuriyil, Director of Accompanying Differently-Abled & Awakening Mission, Archdiocese Thalassery, as the esteemed speaker. The program began with a welcome speech by Alfin Reji, General Secretary of the Union, followed by the Presidential Address by College Principal Indu K. Mathew. The session was anchored by Sharfa Usman and concluded with a vote of thanks by Akshay K, UUC. The session focused on teaching sign language to communicate effectively with deaf individuals.                       AWARENESS TALK On behalf of World Environmental Health Day on September 26, Department of Physical Science organised an awareness talk programme on 28 th of September after the assembly. The talk started at 9.45 am and was led by Aysha, student-teacher of Physical Science, who emphasised the importance of the day. The talk was very informative and engaging to the entire student body of Malabar Training College following the morning assembly. ICT ORIENTATION

 Malabar Training College, in collaboration with Vidhyaragam Kalasahitya Vedhi, organized  an ICT orientation class on January 18, 2025, at the Good Earth Chess Café Thundiyil for lower primary and upper primary teachers. The session aimed to provide participants with knowledge and skills related to Information and Communication Technology (ICT), focusing on its application in education and other fields. The event likely involved discussions, demonstrations, and training on various ICT tools and techniques to enhance participants' understanding and use of technology. MOVIE PREMIERE ON INDIAN ARMY DAY

  The movie premiere of Uri: The Surgical Strike was organized at Malabar Training College on Indian Army Day, in honor of the valor and sacrifices made by the Indian Army. The event aimed to highlight the bravery and resilience of soldiers, showcasing the 2019 film based on the surgical strike carried out by the Indian Army. Students, faculty, and local community members attended the screening, which was followed by a discussion on the importance of national security and patriotism. SPEECH COMPETITION ON NATIONAL YOUTH DAY

  A speech competition was held at Malabar Training College in celebration of National Youth Day, which commemorates the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The event aimed to inspire students to embrace his teachings on youth empowerment, self-discipline, and service to the nation. Participants delivered speeches on topics related to the power of youth in nation-building, and the importance of education and personal growth. The competition fostered a sense of responsibility and encouraged students to reflect on their role in shaping a better society. Financial Literacy Awareness Program

Recognizing the importance of financial literacy among students, Malabar Training College organized a Financial Literacy Awareness Program aimed at equipping future educators with essential financial knowledge and skills.

  Awareness talk on Human Rights was organized by IQAC and Social science club of Malabar training college on 13 th January 2025. The programme commenced with a welcome address by smt. Indu K Mathew, Principal of Malabar training college. The session led by Advocate Pradeep Kaippananickal, motivational speaker, mind Power and cyber law trainer initiated the session focused on enhancing the understanding of human rights and their relevance in our daily lives. The session stressed the importance of knowing our right to ensure dignity, equality and justice for all. The highlight of the session was the interactive question answer segment, where students raised thoughtful quires about real world issue concerning human rights. The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Vijisha P P Assistant professor Malabar training college .

This highly anticipated event marked a day of vibrant athletic competition and spirited participation, bringing together students, staff, and faculty for a celebration of physical fitness and sportsmanship. Pravasi Bharatiya Divas

  Malabar Training College celebrated the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (Non-Resident Indian Day) on 09/12/2025 a significant event dedicated to honoring the contributions of the Indian diaspora globally. Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is celebrated annually on January 9th to mark the return of Mahatma Gandhi from South Africa to India in 1915. The event at Malabar Training College sought to recognize the achievements of the Indian community living abroad and to strengthen ties between the country and its overseas citizens.

Self study &certificate course orientation program

   Monday 1:00pm at seminar hall . The talk was led by Rashidha miss physical science  option teacher. The program begin with the welcome speech by Rashidha mam,who  highlights the importance of self-study in achieving academic success. The Self-Study  Orientation Program was conducted to familiarize participants with effective self￾learning strategies, time management techniques, and available resources to help them  take responsibility for their academic progress.
