WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DAY

                      AWARENESS TALK


On behalf of World Environmental Health Day on September 26, Department of Physical Science organised an awareness talk programme on 28th of September after the assembly. The talk started at 9.45 am and was led by Aysha, student-teacher of Physical Science, who emphasised the importance of the day. The talk was very informative and engaging to the entire student body of Malabar Training College following the morning assembly. The presentation aimed to raise awareness about the crucial link between environmental health and our well-being. Aysha began by explaining the significance of World Environmental Health Day and its connection to our daily lives. She then delved into key environmental health concerns, emphasizing the detrimental impact of pollution on human health. This included a discussion on air, water, and soil pollution, and their potential consequences on human health. Furthermore, she highlighted the importance of sustainable practices in our daily lives. She encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly habits such as proper waste management and recycling, water and energy conservation, and the reduction of single-use plastics. Aysha also stressed the role of students in protecting the environment, emphasizing the power of collective action in creating a healthier planet.  The awareness talk was a resounding success. Students demonstrated a keen interest in environmental issues and a willingness to learn more. The presentation effectively raised awareness about the importance of environmental health and inspired students to take action to protect our planet
