MAHATMA GANDHI JAYANTI

As part of the Gandhi Jayanti celebrations on October 2nd, the 

Social Science Club and IQAC organized a documentary-making 

competition aimed at honouring Mahatma Gandhi on his birthday. 

The objective was not only to pay tribute to Gandhiji but also to 

uncover and share lesser-known facts about his life. The theme 

for the documentary was "The Life and Times of Gandhiji," and 

each department was tasked with creating a 5-7 minute video. The 

event was gracefully hosted by Ms. Ameena Raoof, with Ms. 

Ruby Joseph and Ms. Rashida serving as the judges. 

The Malayalam Department won first prize for the best 

documentary, while the Natural Science Department took home 

the second prize. Prizes were distributed later at the Social 

Science Department by Ms. Preetha Kuriakose. Despite some 

minor technical issues, the competition was a great success, 

leaving a lasting impact on all participants and attendees
