"Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan" - Pledge Taking Ceremony

 


                                   On the 12th of August 2024, Malabar Training College, Peravoor, hosted a significant event as part of the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan" initiative, aimed at promoting a drug- free society. The event was organized by the Anti-Drug Cell in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college. The ceremony commenced at 11:00 AM in the General Hall, with students and faculty members gathered to participate in the pledge-taking ceremony. The primary focus of this event was to spread awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and to encourage students to commit themselves to a drug-free life. The program began with a brief introduction by our college principal, Indu ma'am who highlighted the importance of the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan" and the role that educational institutions play in this national campaign.

The highlight of the event was the pledge-taking ceremony, where all students stood together to take the pledge to stay away from drugs. The pledge was led by Adwaith V.V., who guided the gathering in taking this important oath. The program concluded successfully with a strong message against drug abuse.
