ORU THULLI ORU JEEVAN

  On January 31, 2024, Malabar Training College initiated the “Oru Thulli Oru Jeevan” Green Campus Initiative aimed at promoting environmental sustainability, raising awareness about climate change, and fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature among students and faculty. The event was organized to encourage active participation in green practices and to help develop a sustainable campus environment. The initiative aligned with the college’s commitment to eco-friendly practices and its efforts to make a tangible contribution to environmental conservation. The name of the initiative, "Oru Thulli Oru Jeevan", translates to “A Drop is Life”, symbolizing how even small efforts, like planting a tree or conserving resources, can collectively make a significant impact on the planet's well-being.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBARTIONS

On January 26, 2024, Malabar Training College celebrated Republic Day, a significant occasion in India’s history marking the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950. The celebration was filled with patriotic fervor, reflecting the spirit of unity, diversity, and democracy that Republic Day represents. The event was organized to honor the constitutional framework of India and to promote awareness about the importance of national integrity and citizenship responsibilities. Faculty, students, and staff participated with great enthusiasm in various activities that commemorated the importance of the day.

  On January 18, 2024, Malabar Training College observed Palliative Day, an event dedicated to raising awareness about palliative care, its importance in the healthcare system, and its role in improving the quality of life for patients with serious illnesses. The event aimed to educate students and staff about the concept of holistic care, the ethical principles involved, and how palliative care can be integrated into various healthcare practices. The day also honored the work of healthcare professionals who provide end-of-life care and support to individuals and their families.

URJA-24

On January 13, 2024, Malabar Training College hosted its annual URJA-24 Sports Day, a highly anticipated event that brought together students, faculty, and staff to celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness. The event was organized to provide an opportunity for students to showcase their athletic skills, engage in healthy competition, and promote the importance of physical fitness in daily life. URJA-24 was designed as a vibrant and energetic celebration of sports, with a variety of events, games, and activities that encouraged participation, camaraderie, and a sense of achievement.
